Getting Around Portugal by Taxi
While ride sharing companies are available, use the local taxi service instead. The drivers are friendly and very knowledgeable, and the prices tend to be lower than ride sharing apps. Taxis are available in most city centers. Look for a vehicle painted black with a teal roof.
Extra Insider Tip: When leaving the Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon, follow the signs for the Taxi line. When arriving on an international flight, it will be just outside after exiting through Customs. The line may look long, but it moves very quickly!
